The Ultimate Guide to the Maldives in 2026

By Maria Santos · April 10, 2026 · 12 min read
Maldives

The Maldives is one of the most stunning destinations on earth — and one of the most misunderstood. Many travellers assume it's out of reach financially. This guide covers everything: when to go, what to budget, which islands to choose, and the secret spots most tourists never find.

🗓️ When Is the Best Time to Visit?

The dry season (November to April) offers the best weather — sunny skies, calm seas, excellent snorkelling. The wet season (May to October) brings lower prices (up to 40% cheaper) and fewer crowds.

💡 Pro tip: Visit in May or October for the sweet spot — shoulder season prices with mostly dry weather.

💰 How Much Does it Cost?

Our packages start from $1,299/person including flights and accommodation.
